The Last Hours of Verdansk event in Warzone is just around the corner, and with it comes the culmination of the Battle Royale map that has been a constant for many seasons.
Similar to the Warzone nuclear event from early 2021, as well as even the Black Ops: Cold War reveal late last year, you can expect more than a few fireworks this time around.
This will arrive as part of Vanguard Season 1, which will offer the usual range of new operators, weapons and a new Battle Pass. Additionally, Warzone Pacific features the long-awaited integration with Vanguard, as well as the new Warzone Pacific map Caldera.
This page describes the start time of the Warzone Last Hours of Verdansk event, how the event works, and all the rewards for completing certain tasks.
Currently, as of Warzone Season 4, you can no longer complete this activity. If you’re looking for more help, check out our current page on the best Warzone weapons and the Vanguard Royale meta.

How does the Last Hours of Verdansk event work in Warzone?
Following the events of the Battle of Verdansk and Secrets of the Pacific, the Last Hours of Verdansk presents a similar spectacle as we say goodbye to the Battle Royale map.
Instead of being a specific objective where everyone helps each other, as was the case during the Battle of Verdansk, this event works similarly to a normal Battle Royale match. The biggest twist comes down to the presence of crashed planes, which periodically appear on the map.
You and your squad have to examine these crash sites to obtain a special Intel contract. The contract is located inside a crashed plane supply box, so look for it once you’re nearby. In addition to the normal loot, you can pick up a Crashed Plane Intel, which asks you to locate the Crashed Plane Intel.
Completing these bounties gives you access to your equipment, so it’s worth seeking them out. Of course, the matches are as hectic as ever, but at least you’ll be able to redeploy when Rebirth activates. As long as someone in your squad is still alive and well, you will be able to respawn after a countdown (which can be reduced by earning points).
As another bonus, the locations of crashed planes in Warzone are always marked on the map.
Look at the skies.
If they disappear before your arrival, it means that another squad has already obtained the information. But don’t worry, they tend to be frequent (if your squad manages to get a vehicle, even better).
Towards the end of the match, the climax involves protecting yourself from major bombing raids on Verdansk.
To survive the bombing, you will have to secure one of three World War II bunker locations. This will show up on the map again, which is useful for you but also for everyone else still standing, so watch out for enemy sightings.
If you manage to secure it safely by staying inside until the countdown is complete, you will be the winner of the match. There are a couple of rewards saved for completing specific tasks, which you can see below if you wish.
Warzone Last Hours of Verdansk Rewards List
From the beginning, don’t expect a wide variety of rewards. There are no special highlights like blueprints, for example, but at least you’ll receive some benefits for your efforts.
The rewards for The Last Hours of Verdansk are as follows:
- Play the event The Last Hours of Verdansk: I Was There (Uncommon Calling Card)
- Complete a Crashed Plane Intel Contract: Wicked Grin (Legendary Plane Skin, available in Warzone Pacific Season 1)
- Win a match in the Last Hours of Verdansk event (thanks to YouTuber SargeStone123 for the image below): Final Victor (Epic Calling Card)
