There are two new playable characters debuting in Update 3.6: Baizhu and Kaveh, but they won’t be available until Phase 2.

Phase 1 of the Banner 3.6 schedule begins with the return of Dendro 5-Star Nahida in her The Moongrass’ Enlightenment Banner and the return of Hydro 5-Star Nilou in her Twirling Lotus Banner.

The following 4-star characters will have an increase in the drop rate of both banners:

As usual, the Phase 1 3.6 banners will run side by side and will be available from Wednesday, April 12 until ending on Tuesday, May 2.

In Phase 2 of the 3.6 Banner schedule we have Dendro 5-Star Baizhu’s new Immaculate Pulse Banner and Cryo 5-Star Ganyu’s returning Adrift in the Harbor Banner. Additionally, the new Dendro 4-Star Kaveh will be one of the upgraded 4-Stars in Baizhu and Ganyu’s Banners.

These Phase 2 signs are expected to be in effect until Tuesday, May 23.

In summary, all the new and returning 5-star characters and new 4-star characters you can wish for during 3.6 are:

As a reminder, all Phase 1 banners will be available beginning Wednesday, March 12, and will then need to be changed to Phase 2 banners beginning Tuesday, May 2. Phase 2 is scheduled to end on Tuesday, May 23, when the next day it’s time to prepare for a new update with a new set of banners in version 3.7.

Version 4.0 is here! Our Fontaine guide can help you with the reputation of Fontaine and the Fountain of Lucine, and you can also redeem new codes for Primogems if you want Lyney, and check her out in our tier list. To upgrade Lyney, you will need a lot of Rainbow Rose and Lynette requires Lumidouce Bell. You’ll also need luck from the Pity and 50/50 systems to wish them fate and future banners, and you’ll always need the correct adventure rank for events. Elsewhere, we have beginner tips and tricks, Dendroculus locations, fishing locations, and TCG card locations.

Genshin Impact 3.6 Events

Genshin Impact 3.6 update includes:

  • Story quests for Nahida and Baizhu
  • Layla’s Hangout Event
  • New Sumeru area to explore
  • two new bosses
  • Two new Hillichurl enemies
  • Two new sets of artifacts

In addition to this permanent content, we’ll be getting an Overflowing Mastery event and four limited-time events during the Genshin Impact 3.6 update.

Here’s everything we know so far about each limited-time event in Genshin Impact 3.6:

Genshin Impact Beer Developments Event

Brewing Developments begins Thursday, April 13 and ends Monday, April 24. You must be at least Adventure Rank 20 to participate.

For Brewing Developments, you must complete three consecutive combat rounds. However, during each round, the system will randomly activate one or more of the four possible buffs at set time intervals. This ensures that each round is at least slightly different.

Rewards you can get from the Brewing Developments event include:

  • Primogems
  • Blackberry
  • Mystical Enhancement Ore
  • Materials to level up talent
  • Character EXP Materials

Genshin Impact Blazing Sandstorm Event

Fulminating Sandstorm begins Friday, April 21 and ends Monday, May 1. You must be at least Adventure Rank 28 and have completed the Chapter 1, Act 3 Archon quest ‘A New Star Is Coming’ to participate.

We stayed in Sumeru for this traditional combat event. It involves traveling to the desert on behalf of the scholars to deal with the Wenuts, including helping to charge the ‘Wenutslayer Canon’. It looks like some improvements will be applied to combat encounters as well.

Rewards you can get from the Blazing Sandstorm event include:

  • Primogems
  • Blackberry
  • Mystical Enhancement Ore
  • Weapon Ascension Materials
  • Character EXP Materials

Genshin Impact Akademiya Extravaganza Event (A Parade of Providence)

The Akademiya Extravaganza will be the main event running throughout patch 3.6, consisting of seven mini-events and one additional competition as part of Sumeru’s debut festival.

A Providence Parade begins on Thursday, April 27 and ends on Monday, May 15. You must be at least Adventure Rank 30 and have completed the Chapter 1, Act 3 Archon quest ‘A New Beginning Is Coming’ in order to participate.

It is also recommended, but not required, that you complete the Archon quest ‘Genesis Reversal’ and ‘Vultur Volans Chapter: Act I’, one of Alhaitham’s story quests, to get the best experience from this quest. However, remember, these quests are not necessary for the A Pageant of Providence event.

Akademiya Extravaganza is divided into two parts: the Gala of Wisdom and the Interdarshan championship.

In Wisdom Gala, Darshans Cyno, Kaveh, Faruzan, Tighnari, Layla, and another mysterious character each have their own mini-games set up to showcase the style of each of their schools.

Each minigame will be different. For example, Layla’s asks you to solve astral puzzles, Kaveh’s involves building paths in a certain number of moves, and Cyno’s is more of a traditional combat challenge.

An example of astral puzzles on the left and path building on the right.

As for the Interdarshan Championship, it involves each Darshan selecting a single member to represent their school in a grand competition. That’s all the information we were given about this, so it likely contains the story content of Akademiya Extravaganza.

All the rewards you can earn in the Akademiya Extravaganza event include:

  • A free 4-star Faruzan character
  • Primogems
  • Blackberry
  • crown of insight
  • Character Ascension Materials
  • Character EXP Materials
  • Materials to level up talent
  • Mystical Enhancement Ore

Genshin Impact Collector’s Path Event

After helping Sorush restore his power in the new Sumeru area during the ‘That Day’s Splendid Sky’ section of the ‘Khvarena of Good and Evil’ world quest, the Gatherer’s Path mini-event will be available to help. to continue Sorush training starting Monday, May 8, ending Monday, May 22.

Additionally, you must be Adventure Rank 20 or higher to start the Path of the Gatherer event.

You have to take control of the flying Sorush to get rid of enemies, perform speed training and solve puzzles.

The rewards you can get from the Gatherer’s Path event include:

  • Primogems
  • Blackberry
  • Mystical Enhancement Ore
  • Character EXP Materials
  • Weapon Ascension Materials
