Fortnite Gnome Locations

Although you need to find seven locations, luckily there are many more on the map. Although they are all located in the game’s icy southwestern region, they can be surprisingly difficult to find.

Here are seven we’ve found so far – enough to complete the challenge.

In more detail, the cold locations of the gnomes are:

South of Snobby Shores is a hill with a lone tree. One of the cold gnomes is next to it.

Between Frosty Flights and Snobby Shores is a forest on top of a hill, with a cabin in the center. From the cabin, go north into the trees, then turn right and you will see the gnome frozen in the snow.

Southeast of Frosty Flights is a hole in the ground surrounded by trees, not far from the southern cliffs. Go down to find a shack underground. On the left is the cold gnome.

Happy Hamlet, right at the north end, not far from the zip line:

East of Happy Hamlet is a cliff edge with irregular ice structures. The cold gnome will be in the center of these.

South of Shifty Shafts is a mountain with a large tree on top. The cold gnome’s location is at the southern end of this mountain.

South of Tilted Towers is a yellow RV parked on top of a cliff. The cold gnome’s location is right next door.

To the west of Lucky Landing, just beyond the walls of the named place, is the cold place of the gnome embedded in the ground.

To the south of the frozen area of the map is a small island, with a cold gnome location on the northwest edge.

Between Frosty Flights and Polar Peak is a tall iceberg with a cold gnome on top; It’s hard to land on, so building is your best option.

Southeast of Polar Peak is a series of zip lines leading south and southeast. Against the cliff near this camp is a frozen place for gnomes.

The frozen lake where Greasy Grove used to be has a cold gnome location next to the roof of the house at the southeast end.

South of the football field, north of the frozen area of the map, is a cold location for gnomes.

The Viking village has a gnome location on the east side, on a cliff overlooking the village.

How do I complete Find Cold Gnomes?

For the week 6 challenges, you have the following task:

  • Search for cold gnomes (7 total, 5 battle stars)

On the other side of the map there are hidden gnomes. Like the Gnome challenge from previous seasons, these are hidden throughout the map, but can be reduced through their high-pitched noises. If you hear something strange, you are definitely near a Gnome.

To help you narrow things down, there is the ‘Cold’ part of the Challenge description. These gnomes are located only in the icy region of the map to the southwest.

Even with these clues, they are very well hidden, so it will be helpful to know the specific locations, which are detailed in the first half of this page.

When you find one, you will be able to interact with it. Doing so will make him disappear and be added to your total.

Do this a total of seven times to complete the challenge. As with other challenges, you must complete them while playing matches (you cannot enter the map without other players), so you will have to avoid combat encounters while trying to find each location.

When you’re done, there will be plenty of other challenges to take on this week, so keep playing!
