Wordle answer today for Monday, 6th March: What is the word today for 625?

Are you trying to wake up your brain this Monday morning with a puzzle? Then we can help you with Wordle’s answer for today, March 6.

For the uninitiated, the goal of Wordle is to solve a daily five-letter word with six puzzles. The less guessing the better, and if you can’t guess anything, you’ll break your streak.

The latter is why finding today’s Wordle answer is a priority, as players pride themselves on maintaining their streak. So why go for a risky final guess when you can learn a few clues and otherwise get the definitive answer? This page can help with that.

Even with the clues above, are you still unsure and want to keep that streak going?

Wordle’s answer today is PINKY.

It was a lucky guess for me on my fourth attempt today, as I usually don’t try a ‘P’ or a ‘K’ until I’ve first eliminated the most common letters. With only one vowel, this can be a difficult word to solve, so we hope the clues above have helped you keep your own Wordle streak going.

Do you want to read more about Wordle before the next answer?

A lot has happened with Wordle since its rapid arrival in October 2021, with millions of players signing up every day in just a few months.

App stores were quickly flooded with clones to take advantage of its popularity. Elsewhere, a developer who previously had a similarly named game available donated his windfall to a charity after players confused it with the new five-letter guessing game, with the creator (of the modern) Wordle, Dan Wardle, calling it a “class act” in response.

The most notable development in Wordle’s history is its purchase by the New York Times for an undisclosed seven-figure sum, which includes the game in the newspaper’s online gaming group.

Today, Wordle is still free and the game itself has not changed, although there have been some minor developments behind the scenes.

In the initial migration, streaks were reset for some players and rude words were removed from the dictionary, leading to the word list changing, resulting in some players being assigned a different word. The New York Times has since also shut down an “unauthorized” archive site for old Wordle puzzles.
