PUBG weapons damage stats – MP5K stats, damage chart and the best weapons in PUBG

PUBG weapon damage stats become increasingly important as you start to think more competitively about how to play.

Different weapon stats are also important at different times; DPS isn’t very important for sniper rifles, for example, but it is one of the most important stats for SMGs.

Here on this page, we’ll outline all the essential stats and numbers for each of PUBG’s weapons, including the latest addition, the Bizon, plus our own pick for the best weapons in PUBG, with our own reasoning, below. the page.

PUBG Weapon Damage Stats and Charts Including New MP5K

Before delving into the tables, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • First, these stats come from datamines from the main game: our sources include the datamined stats found here, as well as this spreadsheet from PUBG redditor dak4ttack and this page from other redditor bizfarts.
  • The tables below are sorted by kill shots, with the fewest kill shots taking first place. However, that doesn’t mean it’s always the best way to evaluate weapons. For a sniper rifle it is essential as you try to kill players with as few shots as possible. For others, like AR and SMG, time to kill is much more important, the lower the time the better.
  • Time to Kill is when the weapon fires at the chest of an opponent wearing level 2 chest armor, which is the most likely standard when playing decent level games from the mid-game onwards. Likewise, chest and head kill shots are for both level 2 chest armor and level 2 helmets.
  • Times are in seconds.
  • Weapons marked with an asterisk * are only available in airdrop boxes, so don’t plan on playing with these available in every game!
  • This page is updated as of Update #29 on PC.

PUBG Update #29 is now live – here’s our guide to the latest PUBG patch notes for Update 29 to get you up to speed. Meanwhile, we have dedicated pages about the Sanhok map, the Erangel map, the Miramar map and also the Vikendi map. If you’re looking for some more extensive tips, our list of PUBG tips and tricks, PUBG weapon damage stats, and best PUBG weapons and loot locations can help.

The best PUBG weapons and why

Now that you have all the essential information, it’s time to think a little about how they play out in the game, because cold, hard statistics aren’t everything. Here are our opinions on the best weapons in each category:

  • Sniper Rifles: The air-launched exclusive AWM is the only rifle in the game powerful enough to kill an unarmed player with a single shot to the chest, but it has recently suffered a major nerf. The Kar98k is the best option you can get by playing regularly. It’s the only non-boxed rifle that can one-hit kill a player with a level 2 helmet, and it’s fairly available and requires minimal accessories. Our next favorite is the SLR, which now surpasses the SKS, thanks to faster kill time plus sustained semi-auto fire and great potential when maxed out with attachments.
  • Assault Rifles: Despite being at the bottom of the shot-to-kill list, the M249’s fast rate of fire gives it the shortest time-to-kill of any LMG or assault rifle. The Groza also absolutely destroys (you’ve probably seen the highlight videos of people using it to take out entire squads), but they’re both just boxes. In our opinion, the best regular weapon is still the M416, thanks to its accessory potential, flexibility in rate of fire, and ability to attach an 8x scope, although initial impressions of the Beryl M762 are that It’s an excellent choice if you can control its strong recoil, thanks to the high base damage and high rate of fire. Alternatively, the QBZ is alarmingly stable when shooting in full-auto mode, making it an excellent choice as well. The M16A4 is also viable and in fact has a faster kill time than any other except the M249 if you can master the quick tap to burst fire. The SCAR-L is actually the quietest and has a similar kill time, making it excellent with a suppressor in close range combat.
  • SMG: Contrary to some opinions, we prefer the UZI to all other SMGs. that’s because it has with much smallest bullet spread (about half that of its closest rival), which is essential for SMGs as they rely on fully automatic use, unlike ARs and Snipers. It is common, requires minimal accessories to be effective, and the panic inspired by its rate of fire can be enough to discourage inexperienced enemies. Next is the Vector, but this is only viable when you have an extended magazine, as its base capacity of 13 rounds is too low on its own, although it became more viable with Update #12 on PC, noticeably reducing time and shots to kill.

  • Shotguns: The S12k excels with the added utility of automatic shotgun fire. The S686 ‘farmer’ shotgun actually has a slightly higher maximum rate of fire for its two rounds, but of course there are only two rounds that you can fire at the same time. The pump action S1897 is the last resort.
  • Pistols and Handguns: The only weapons worth carrying, aside from emergencies where you can’t find anything else, are the Sawed-Off Shotgun, the P18C, the Skorpion, and the P1911. The Sawed-Off is probably the best, since sidearms are really just for emergencies, and with that you only need to carry a few bullets for it to be useful. However, the P18C is a fully-accessorized powerhouse, acting as a backup SMG if you don’t have close-range options, and note that the pistols now have virtually zero recoil as of Update #12. It’s like playing classic DOOM and makes using it much easier (and more fun!).
  • Melee and Other: If you’re looking for a laugh, the crossbow is a lot of fun, especially if you’re good with it and can find a quiver. In the days of fog maps, it was actually also almost pretty good, performing completely silent assassinations out of nowhere. Actually, outside of emergencies, the only thing you should use here is the Bread, which should always be picked up on sight and acts as a lovely “level 4” armor for your butt. He’s saved us more than a few times and is also surprisingly good at last resort damage.
  • Other things to consider – Finally, it is worth noting above all that any The weapon is viable if you’re good enough at using it, and personal preference always comes into play. We like the UZI for its condensed range, for example, and will almost always use it, but you may prefer shotguns, or perhaps the M416 or AKM for close range work because you can control them more effectively. Things change quite frequently with PUBG too, so keep checking back after major patches and we’ll update this page to take them into account. Who knows, maybe the VSS could resurface.
