Touch a Cube is the third mission of Dark Jonesy’s second punch card in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8.
It’s hard to touch something if you don’t know where it is, so before starting this mission, you need to know the location of the cubes. However, first make sure you have found the scrolls in the IO Bases and recovered the Spirit Vessel using a Shadow Stone.
Completing this mission for the first time will reward you with 30,000 XP, which will help you unlock more Battle Stars for the Season 8 Battle Pass, and if you decide to repeat it, you will receive a small amount of XP.
Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.
Cube locations in Fortnite explained
Tapping a cube is as simple as it gets – all you have to do to complete this Fortnite mission is tap a cube. However, where the cube locations are is a different question.
Fortunately, The Convergence, a named location added to the Fortnite map on Tuesday, October 19, is a great place to complete this quest.
Convergence is hard to miss.
You can touch the central yellow cube, also called The Queen’s Cube, or one of the purple cubes. These specific cubes are marked by the air flowing from them and have the added bonus of making you fly upwards when you touch them.
Tap the cubes!
The purple cubes can be easily touched by walking on the ground surrounding the yellow cube, because most of them are these special purple cubes.
At the time of writing, there is also the Blue Cube, located north of Camp Cod, and tapping it will also complete this challenge. However, it may take a couple of taps for it to count towards the challenge.
With this quest under your belt, you can complete the next one, destroying the Corruption Cluster and all Corruption Shards, and the final quest: returning the Spirit Vessel to the Oracle.
