Where is the pier and how do you catch tuna there?

You will only be able to fish for tuna in New Horizons at the end of the small wooden pier that is located on one of the many beaches that border your island. Don’t confuse this with the airport jetty: you can’t find tuna fishing there.

Be sure to only fish for tuna at the end of the pier; Otherwise, you risk fishing only for shore-caught fish. However, you’re going to catch a good amount of fish anyway, so leave them in the sea or sell them.

The other thing you need to keep in mind when hunting for tuna is that you will need a lot of fish bait and we mean a lot.

The fish bait is made from a manila clam and can only be used once. We recommend carrying about 30 bags of fish bait on each tuna hunting trip. This won’t guarantee that you’ve caught a tuna, but it will make it a little less tedious.

Tuna will only visit your island between the months of November and April, but fortunately, you can fish 24 hours a day.

Like blue marlins, catching a tuna in New Horizons relies mostly on luck and a little resilience, especially when you find yourself digging up clams again. In the end, however, you will catch a tuna that you can donate to the museum.
