How to unlock Grau in Warzone
There’s actually a bit of legwork required to unlock the Grau in Call of Duty: Warzone. While you could previously unlock it very easily by reaching level 15 in the Season 2 Battle Pass, that’s obviously no longer an option, so you have to complete a very specific challenge to unlock the assault rifle.
This challenge involves killing 5 enemies in one minute using an assault rifle, a total of 25 times. As you can probably guess, this is nearly impossible to achieve in Warzone, but it’s very doable if you have Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, as progress in either game builds toward this challenge.

Alternatively, you can purchase a cosmetic pack containing Grau from the Warzone store, but this will only unlock a very specific version of Grau that cannot be customized. There are no store packs we recommend purchasing to unlock Grau, but keep in mind that the Call of Duty store changes available packs daily.

These are the best accessories you can equip the Grau in Call of Duty: Warzone.
- Tactical Suppressor (unlocked at level 12)
- Tempus 26.4” Archangel (Unlocked at level 36)
- Operator’s Reflex Visor (unlocked at level 7)
- FSS Blackjack (unlocks at level 16)
- Commando Foregrip (unlocks at level 4)
As is usual with any custom loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone, you’ll want to equip a silencer, and for the Grau we’ve opted for the tactical suppressor, due to its relatively low unlock level.
As for the other accessories that best suit the Grau, we recommend carrying the Commando Foregrip to stabilize the weapon while firing, giving it relatively low recoil, as well as the Tempus 26.4” Archangel to increase accuracy.
As for optics, some players choose not to run with a custom optic loadout for the Grau, opting instead to use the weapon’s iron sights and save the docking slot for a weapon perk. However, we recommend opting for the Reflex Sight operator, due to its relatively wide field of view.
