Pokémon Go Hidden Gems Season End Date: When will the Hidden Gems Season end?

Hidden Gems Season has a start time of Thursday, June 1 at 10am (local time) and an end date of Friday, September 1 at 10am (local time).

Go Battle League Season 15 will take place during this time period and will, as usual, contain all three leagues and a selection of special cups.

Hidden Gems Season Bonuses in Pokémon Go

There are three bonuses throughout the Hidden Gem Season and they are all related to trading Pokémon. The former gives each player the opportunity to perform one additional Special Trade per day, which means that, during this season, you can perform two Special Trades per day.

Meanwhile, the second and third bonuses are related to the candy you receive when trading: you’ll get an extra candy when you trade Pokemon, and if you’re level 31 or higher, you’ll get a guaranteed XL candy per trade.

It’s also important to note that one of the bonuses from the previous season (that the damage dealt by Pokémon attending the raid remotely is the same as that of Pokémon participating in the raid in person) is now a permanent feature.

Finally, there are several Pokémon available as Research Breakthrough rewards in Hidden Gem Season!

From Thursday, June 1 to Friday, September 1, you’ll have a chance to win an encounter with Sableye, Beldum, Audino, Furfrou, Goomy, or Noibat.

However, this is not the only change in field research tasks. Since the start of the Hidden Gems Season, those that rotated monthly will now change seasonally. The one exception is Spinda’s Field Research task.

What are seasons in Pokémon Go?

Originally introduced in December 2021, Seasons are in-game periods (three months in length) that tie together various themed events and add a selection of new features and quality-of-life changes to Pokémon Go.

This includes:

  • Changes in the way Pokémon appear from season to season, which may cause some creatures to appear more regularly or become rarer in the wild for limited periods of time.
  • Changes to egg stocks and raids.
  • Spawning specific to the northern and southern hemispheres, coinciding with the real world seasons.
  • It highlights specific Mega Evolutions, giving them a power boost throughout the season.
  • Switch to Deerling forms.
  • A new season of Go Battle League, which will be the same length as the season itself.
  • XP increases by completing specific activities, like five-star raids, for example.
  • Introduce other general improvements in the quality of life.
  • A variety of events in the game.
  • New pokemon.
