Pokémon Go 7th Anniversary Party field research tasks and rewards

The 7th Anniversary Party unsurprisingly celebrates the 7th anniversary of the release of Pokémon Go.

During the 7th Anniversary Party, you’ll be able to collect a variety of Field Research tasks and event-exclusive rewards in Pokémon Go. You’ll also want to keep an eye on which bonuses are currently available and which Pokémon appear most frequently in the wild, because during the Seventh Anniversary Party, both will change slightly from day to day.

There are also two paid Research Missions available during the 7th Anniversary Party, the first being the 7th Anniversary Party Timed Research Mission and the second being the return of the Masterpiece Research Mission All in One #151.

The Hidden Gems Season is coming to an end. Before it ends, try to finish the special research missions Fascinating Facets and Sky High. You can also complete a route and fight in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to run into Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.

Everything you need to know about the seventh anniversary party in Pokémon Go

The Pokémon Go seventh anniversary party sees the release of two new costumed Pokémon: Party Hat Wartortle and Party Hat Blastoise. (Yes… more party hats…)

To get these new Pokemon costumes, you need to research a Party Hat Squirtle. Fortunately, the Community Day Classic event that will be held on Sunday, July 9 between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time will help you achieve this task, as you will see Squirtle appearing more frequently in the wild. While these Squirtles won’t be wearing hats, they will help you collect the candy you need for evolutions.

Before leaving the Squirtle theme, the 7th Anniversary Party will also see the launch of PokéStop Showcases where you can show off your biggest Squirtle!

In addition to these new costumed Pokémon, there are paid Research Missions available during the 7th Anniversary Party.

The first is the 7th Anniversary Party Timed Research Mission, which, if purchased, will give you until Wednesday, July 12 at 8pm local time to complete. If you do not complete this quest before this deadline, you will not be able to claim all of your rewards.

The Seventh Anniversary Party Timed Research Mission can be purchased from the in-game Pokémon Go store for £1.99, $2, or the equivalent price in your local currency until Tuesday, July 11 at 8pm local time. Just remember to complete it before the deadline!

The second mission is the return of All in One #151. This Masterwork Research quest was originally released as part of Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto in February 2021 and gives you the chance to add a shiny Mew to your collection.

Tickets for All-in-One #151 are £4.99, $5 or the equivalent price in your local currency and will be available in the in-game store until Wednesday, July 12 at 8pm local time. There is no deadline for all-in-one Masterpiece Research Mission #151, but it might take you a while to complete!

If you purchase the quest, you must ensure that it has been unlocked correctly by playing Pokémon Go after purchasing it before this date. It is important to note that players who purchased a ticket for Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto cannot purchase this quest a second time.

If you purchase All-in-One Tickets #151, you can enjoy three bonuses until the end of the 7th Anniversary Party: Incense double duration, Daily Adventure Incense double duration, and Lure Module double duration.

  • PokéStops with Golden Lure modules can give more Gimmighoul Coins, starting with seven but going up to 77 or more.
  • Higher chance of becoming lucky friends.
  • Increases the chances of Pokémon becoming lucky through trades.

As mentioned above, the fourth bonuses will change from day to day and will be in effect between 12 am and 11:59 pm (local time). You can find these bonuses, along with the days they are in effect, below:
