Lightning Returns, the third and final game in the Final Fantasy 13 story, has finally been released. Resurrected to carry the souls of the living from one soon-to-be doomed world to the next, there’s also no shortage of loose ends for Lightning to tie up in this winding tale. To help you navigate all of this content, we’ve created a walkthrough that will take you through the final story of this game.
That story is made up of a long main campaign that spans a handful of different main locations, all of which are packed with plenty of side quests to keep you busy. To make things a little more manageable, we’ve broken everything down into individual articles that you’ll find fairly easy to digest as you progress through the game.

Lightning Returns – Luxerion Quest, Lumina Fight, Hidden Code, Noel Fight Lightning’s story begins in the city of Luxerion, where an enigmatic gang of hooded vagrants roam the streets and scare gamblers in the shopping district. Untangling this mystery begins with a stealth section of questionable quality and concludes with the game’s first boss showdown. The first part of our walkthrough guides you through the safety of the shadows, before making sure you live long enough to enjoy the next chapter.
Lightning Returns – Luxerion Side Quests, Fight Zomok, Clock Locations We can complete the opening chapter of Lightning Returns fairly quickly, but before we continue, it’s worth leveling up a bit by finishing some of the side quests scattered around Luxerion. In addition to helping you gain strength, you will also get your hands on some critical items of equipment that will definitely help you in your future adventures.
Lightning Returns – Luxerion Canvas of Prayers, Monster Locations In addition to the side quests you’ll encounter on your adventures, you’ll also gain access to a quest system called Canvas of Prayers shortly after landing in Luxerion. Lightning Returns: Yusnaan Mission, Fight the Cyclops, ID Location, Fight in the Snow You’ll soon find that combat gets a lot more interesting in the second of four Lightning Returns chapters, set this time in Yusnaan, the city of pleasure. . Be careful with your cash and be sure to carry a few thousand Gil with you as you progress through this section; You will need the money to advance the main quest here. Make sure you’re comfortable with the combat system, too, so you’ll be prepared to fight the elusive Snow.

Many of these quests ask you nothing more complicated than killing a large number of treacherous beasts in exchange for their quest items, and we have all the information you need to track down each and every monster.
Lightning Returns – Dead Dunes Quest, Fight Grendel, Crux Pieces, Temple Ruins Lightning Returns’ fourth main quest, set in the Dead Dunes region, is a relatively short affair, but it comes complete with a pretty intense fight against Grendel. .
