Although you get the Extra Fizzy Root Beer recipe as part of Scar’s ‘Nature and Nurture’ quest, it’s actually very easy to make a mistake and make regular root beer.
Here’s exactly what you need to make extra fizzy root beer at Disney Dreamlight Valley:
- 1 dried ginger
- 1 sugar cane
- 1 vanilla
Remember that what you need to make the extra fizzy variety of root beer at Disney Dreamlight Valley is dried ginger, not regular ginger.
Be sure to use dried ginger to make extra fizzy root beer!

The Disney Dreamlight Valley September Update is here! You can now obtain Beauty and the Beast by completing the quests Into the West Wing and A Prince in Disguise. The Fairy Godmother is still in the valley, so you can continue the story through the Forgotten Memories quest. Now you can also have multiplayer houses and customize furniture. If you use the other ingredients before trying to make extra fizzy root beer, you can buy cane sugar at Goofy’s stand in Dazzle Beach and pick vanilla from the ground in the Sunlit Plateau area.
Go to Sunlit Plateau to find vanilla growing in the ground.
When you’ve prepared the extra fizzy root beer meals, take them to the Vitalys Caves on Sunlit Plateau and add the extra fizzy root beer and crunchy candies you found in the caves to the red barrel next to the waterfall.
The water level will now rise and you can go report to Merlin… but something strange will happen outside the cave before you reach it.
