How to get Crabrawler in Pokémon Go

Crabrawler made its first appearance in Pokémon Go on Tuesday, December 6 during the Mythic Blade event.

Crabrawler will appear more frequently in the wild during the Mythic Blade event.

Since this is currently the only way to catch Crabrawler, we highly recommend going out and locating one before the event ends on Sunday, December 11 at 8 pm (local time).

As of this writing, we also don’t know Crabrawler’s spawn rates after Mythic Blade ends, so there’s a chance that, like other recently released Pokémon, it will be quite difficult to find.

The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! Its first event is A Paldean Adventure, which sees the true launch of Gen 9 and the special research mission A Paldean Adventure. You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.

How to evolve Crabrawler into Crabominable in Pokémon Go

To evolve Crabrawler into Crabominable in Pokémon Go, you need 50 Crabrawler Candies and be near a PokéStop where a Glacial Lure Module has been used.

While Crabrawler is a fighting type, Crabominable is a fighting and ice type Pokémon.

Because Mythic Blade is a fairly short event, you only have a small window to easily collect the candy needed for Crabrawler’s evolution. For this reason, you’ll want to use a pineapple berry every time you try to catch one to double your candy catch. You can also earn extra candy by making Crabrawler your Pokémon friend!

When it comes to the Glacial Lure module, you can use it yourself at a PokéStop or find a stop where another player has already used said module. Once you are within range of PokéStop, head to the chosen Crabrawler in the Pokémon Storage and you will see that the option to evolve it is now available.

If you prefer to use the Glacial Lure Module yourself, it’s important to remember that if you don’t already have one in your bag, you’ll need to purchase it from the in-game store for 180 Pokecoins. These decoy modules are occasionally rewarded for research quests, and with Pokémon Go’s winter holiday events on the horizon, there’s a chance we could receive a Glacial Decoy Module from said event quests.

However, if you want to save your PokéCoin but want a Crabominable ASAP, you can try talking to Pokémon Go groups in your local area. There is a chance that another player will mention placing a Glacial Lure Module at a specific PokéStop, so others can use it.

Good luck adding Crabrawler and Crabominable to your Pokédex!
