Fortnite The Driftwood and The Flairship locations explained

Driftwood and The Flairship are the names of two flying ships, well, sort of flying, in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4.

You can complete a variety of weekly Fortnite challenges on both ships, so it’s a good idea to know where The Driftwood and The Flairship locations are.

Completely a weekly challenge in Fortnite will reward you with 20k XP, which will help you unlock new battle pass skins.

Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

Fortnite The Driftwood Location Explained

The Driftwood is the pirate ship that floats just west of Rocky Reels in Fortnite and the easiest way to get to it is by landing on the ship’s deck at the start of a match.

Driftwood can be a great place to land as it is usually full of chests and loot. One thing to keep in mind is that it is usually a relatively hot drop and you will most likely have to fight as soon as you land.

Instead of trying to land at Driftwood, opt for one of the attached ziplines. This will allow you to ascend to Driftwood instead of waiting to float slowly. Make sure to talk to Blackheart once you’re there, he sells weapons and healing items.

Visiting The Driftwood will allow you to complete two challenges so far in Season 4:

  • Manages at The Flairship, The Driftwood and No Sweat Insurance
  • Open chests or ammo boxes inside The Driftwood (3)

Both challenges will reward you with 20,000 XP towards this season’s Battle Pass. You can also find a vault in The Driftwood, which is worth opening if you have two vault keys to spare.

Fortnite The Flairship Location Explained

The Flairship is the last working IO airship on the Fortnite map and can be found just west of Grim Gables. Like The Driftwood, the easiest way to get to The Flairship is by landing on or near it at the start of the match.

However, there are other ways to reach The Flairship, such as the ascender hanging from the airship. There are also balloons around this area that you can use to launch into the air.

As of this writing, you can complete two challenges in The Flairship this season:

  • Manages at The Flairship, The Driftwood and No Sweat Insurance
  • Emote for 5 seconds in The Flairship

Each challenge will reward you with 20k XP, which will help you unlock more Battle Pass rewards.
