How to slide in Fortnite explained
The ability to slide is a brand new mechanic introduced in Fortnite Chapter 3. It allows you to perform a cool and quite useful move every time you descend a surface.
To slide in Fortnite you will only have to press the crouch button while descending on a surface.
Surfaces can be anything from a slope to a mountain, but even slight variations in the ground will work. It’s worth noting that if you’re already crouching and start descending, it won’t automatically turn into a slide; you will have to do it manually while descending.
You can shoot while you slide, which is incredibly useful, but as you can see, it can be difficult to take screenshots while you do so.
In addition to being a clever way to move around the map, you can shoot while sliding in Fortnite.
