The Fortnite Ruin is a skin that is unlocked as part of Discovery’s secret Battle Star locations.
Weeks before the skin’s release, signs suggest that Ruin will have an important role to play in the Fortnite Season 8 story.
There’s a chance that Ruin will also have additional styles to unlock, unlike The Prisoner before.
Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

What we know about Ruin in Fortnite so far
Ruin was teased very early compared to previous reward skins in Fortnite, suggesting that Ruin has an important role to play in the story, in the same way that Ice King became an important part of the story sometime. time before the end of Season 7.
Ruin’s arrival could be related to more lava appearing on the map at the Dusty Divot dig site, especially Ruin’s molten appearance.
In the video above, Hollow guesses that lava will fill the entirety of Dusty Divot to revert the named location to a plane. Could Ruin arise from here in the process?
Meanwhile, a helicopter has been slowly hovering over the map (thanks, Seawod on reddit). More recently he ended up at Loot Lake, suggesting a point of interest in that area.
This then resulted in a font vault appearing in the middle of Loot Lake (thanks to FlaminGummy on reddit for discovering this first). Could this be related to Ruin’s arrival in the game’s story?

Now we have a possible focal point for Ruin’s debut: nothing concrete, but something to go on.
