Valorant release time in BST, CEST, EDT, PDT, JST and KST explained

Valorant is the new tactical shooter from League of Legends developer Riot Games, launching on June 2, 2020.

Having been put to the test as part of a beta this year, which has seen almost three million players daily, the full game will offer some new features to dive into.

This page explains Valorant’s release time and what carries over from the Valorant beta to release.

Valorant release time explained in BST, CEST, EDT and PDT

Valorant’s release date is June 2, and unlike most global releases, Valorant’s release time is staggered throughout the day from region to region:

  • UK: 6am (BST)
  • Europe: 7:00 a.m. (CEST)
  • US East Coast: 8 am (EDT)
  • US West Coast: 5 am (PDT)
  • Japan: 8 am (JST)
  • Korea: 8 am (KST)

In short, whenever you wake up in your region, Valorant should be available, assuming the launch goes smoothly throughout the day.

Although Valorant will launch in most regions on June 2, some, such as Vietnam, India, the Middle East “and a few others,” will arrive at a later date.

Will anything from the Valorant beta carry over to launch?

Riot has said that all beta progression will be reset, except for what was earned in the ‘closed beta player pass’.

Purchases in the Valorant store will also not be transferred, but your Valorant points will be returned with a 20% bonus.
