Solution to the Orochium Shrine puzzle in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To solve the Orochium Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you need to find a way around various sets of lasers and find a way to open two orb locks using Link’s abilities.

When you enter the Sanctuary, you will see an orb lock on the floor to your right, a set of large doors in front of you, and a Soldier Construct II to the left of the large doors.

You might be wondering why we didn’t open the doors in front of you, but you can’t get through them because of a band of lasers.

Instead, head to the left where the Soldier Construct II is. Take them out, it makes this section a lot easier and throws in some useful items. When you’re done with the construct, look up and at the wall. Here you should see some rectangular blocks sticking out of the wall.

Stand under the lowest block and use Ascend to get through it, then climb the ladder to the next area. Once you’re at the top of the ladder, look to your right. You should see a small opening in the wall near the floor. Crouch and walk here to the next area.

It may seem like you’re stuck here, but don’t worry. Head to your right in this area and look down, you should see another Soldier Construct II below you.

Carefully slide here and deal with the construct. Once you’ve got those sorted out, you should see a set of lasers to your right and a series of steps to your left.

Go up the steps until you reach the other side of this area and look to the left, you should see another Soldier Construct II here. Face them and you will find a chest behind them. This chest contains five arrows, which doesn’t seem like it’s worth it, but it’s better than paying rupees for them.

After picking up the chest, go up the steps you saw just now and use Ultrahand to open the large double doors at the top.

There will be more lasers in front of you, but this is where you have to trust us. You have to deliberately walk towards one of these lasers. Once you do, the floor below you will open up, leaving you in a lower level of the Sanctuary, but this is exactly where you need to be.

This area will be a long room filled with lasers. You must navigate them to reach the other end of the room. You can’t scale the walls here, so you’ll have to use a combination of ducking and running at the right times to get past all the lasers.

When you get to the other end of the room, stand under the ledge and use Ascend to go through it. Here you should see another chest. Open it and pick up the key that is inside. Then while standing in front of the chest, use Ascend to return to the main shrine level again.

Once up here, you should see two Soldier Construct IIs in front of you.

Take care of both of them and then walk towards the center of the slightly low area. Here there will be an orb locked behind two green doors, and all you have to do is use the key you found a moment ago to open them.

When the doors are open, take the orb and head back down the steps at the back of this area (where you spawned when you Ascended from the lower level). Then, turn and look around the room once more. There are elevators on the left and right side here, choose which side you want.

Ride the elevator with your orb until you reach the next level. Drop down and carry the orb up the middle steps before dropping it into the orb’s locking mechanism on the floor.

This will open a door near the mechanism to reveal a Zonai wing with two fans attached to the back. Grab this with Ultrahand and place it on the guide rails near the orb mechanism. Next, take the mech orb and attach it to the top of the wing with Ultrahand.

Once you’ve done all of this, get on the Wing and activate it. Ride the Wing back to the Sanctuary entrance and get off once it lands.

Take the orb from the Wing and place it on the orb lock mechanism on the ground to unlock the final area of the Sanctuary. Once you have done this, you will be able to claim your Blessing Light and the Orochium Shrine will be complete!
