Fortnite furthest North, furthest South, furthest East, furthest West locations explained

Finding the northernmost, southernmost, easternmost, and westernmost locations is the goal of one of Fortnite’s many weekly challenges.

Completing it will give you additional XP to help you get many Season 8 rewards.

Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

For the week 2 challenges, you have the following task, which unlocks in sequence:

  • Visit the northern, southern, eastern and western points of the island.

Here are the northernmost, southernmost, easternmost, and westernmost locations at a glance:

First of all, you don’t have to worry about whether or not this needs to be completed in one match: choose as many matches as necessary. That said, if you can somehow reach four points in a single match, then more power to you!

Secondly, all you need to do is approach them; no other actions, such as dancing, are needed. You’ll also know you’re in the right place thanks to a sign at the respective North, South, East and West locations.

Here are the North, South, East and West locations in more detail…

Fortnite’s northernmost location

You’ll find the northernmost Fortnite location near Junk Junction in the northwest part of the map.

Specifically, there is a lot east of Junk Junction, with the northernmost point directly north of there.

There are a couple of trees and rocks here, with a worn path in the grass to let you know you’re in the right place. If you’re having difficulty, look for the final ‘N’ in Junction on the map and go directly north to the edge of the cliff.

Fortnite’s southernmost location

The southernmost Fortnite location is right next to Lucky Landing, in the middle of the southern end of the island.

It’s not directly south of the named location, a little east. As with the others, use the grass and warning rocks to guide you along the way.

If you’re having trouble finding it, go directly south of the ‘N’ on the map.

Fortnite’s easternmost location

The easternmost location in Fortnite is next to the abandoned mansion south of Lonely Lodge.

Specifically, it’s southeast of that, but before you reach the edge of the desert. There are a handful of rocks on the edge of the cliff to highlight the location.

If you’re struggling, from the edge of the desert above the racetrack, hug the cliff as you go north, and the sign will be against the rocks as the cliff juts out to the right.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is here! To help you get started with this heist-themed season, we have guides on how to alert a security camera, protect data from Forecast Towers, and destroy weakened security walls or doors. There’s also a new Victory Umbrella! In the meantime, learn what the best weapons are, the current boosts, how to get XP quickly, how to use the best PC builds, and earn a crown of victory.

Fortnite’s westernmost location

The westernmost Fortnite location is right next to Snobby Shores, in the center of the island.

Specifically, it is behind the second southernmost house in the row. Continue east behind the house until you reach a warning area on the lawn, with the sign waiting.

If you’re struggling, it’s just south between S and N on Snobby on the map.

Once you have all the northernmost, southernmost, easternmost, and westernmost locations, this four-part challenge will be complete. Well done!

Already done? There are plenty of other challenges to take on this week, so keep playing!
