Launching yourself through flaming hoops with a cannon is one of Fortnite’s many weekly challenges.
Completing it will give you additional XP to help you get many Season 8 rewards.
Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

Fortnite Flaming Ring Locations
Although you only need to jump through a total of three Flaming Hoops, fortunately there are many more throughout the map.
Here are the Flaming Hoop locations you can find:
Fortnite Flaming Hoop Locations Map
The flaming rings can’t be easily spotted from the battle bus, but they can be seen from a short distance on the ground, thanks to their elevation and, well, the burning culms that make them stick out like a sore thumb on the horizon. .
Since they require cannons to launch, they tend to spawn near Pirate Camp locations, which is where you’ll find the cannons in question.
Here are their specific locations:
Lazy Lagoon, above the pirate ship in the middle of the named place. You will find cannons on the ship; you may have to move them into the city to get the right point of view.
Southwest of Pleasant Park, surrounded by some trees. The cannons can be found to the west, at the pirate camp location there:
Frozen Lake, in the southeastern part of the map. You’ll find a pirate camp just to the northeast from where you can man a cannon:
Loot Lake, on the south side of the named location. There is a pirate camp just to the east, although since you have to get a cannon over the water, we recommend avoiding this place and opting for another one.
West of Salty Springs, just north of the mountain with the pirate camp location on top:
Base of the volcano, south of the pirate camp location located there:
You can see the burning ring and the nearest pirate camp here.
North of Paradise Palms, next to the mountain and east of the pirate camp location which is right on the edge of the desert:
You can see the burning ring and the nearest pirate camp here.
Easiest Flaming Hoop Locations
Given the above, what are the three easiest Flaming Hoop locations to make? Here are our picks:
- West of Salty Springs, as it is not only isolated from other players, but because the nearby location of the pirate camp is at the level of the burning ring. Find a cannon on the upper level, move it outside facing north, aim up and shoot through it.
- Lazy Lagoon, as there are cannons very close, on the ship and in the port. You will need to move a cannon a little to get the correct height, but you don’t need to move it as much as other locations.
- Frozen Lake, as it is a less popular place than others, and the nearby location of the pirate camp is full of cannons, which you can safely move to the edge of the lake heights and shoot through them.
The one west of Salty Springs is possibly the easiest to complete of all.

How to launch into Flaming Hoop locations
For the week 10 challenges, you have the following task:
- Launch yourself through flaming hoops with a cannon (3 total, 5 battle stars)
Those who played Fortnite last season will recognize this challenge, and it’s very similar, with flaming ring locations appearing all over the map; instead, this time you have to use cannons.
Because of this, it is a much more difficult challenge. Although in all cases the cannons are nearby (there is usually a Pirate Camp location within sight), the cannons will not launch you into the hoop from where they are.
Instead, you should get them closer to the rim. They are not the easiest to maneuver, and when you enter the canyon to launch, you will find that any sloping terrain will cause the cannon to slide out of place.
Since the cannons can’t point all the way up, you can’t place them underneath either, so you have to find a close enough distance to place them, without being too close or far away.
We recommend three things to help. One is to build a structure to place it on, which gives it some elevation and stability, like in this flaming hoop location in Pleasant Park:
The second thing is that because it is a complicated job – finding a cannon, moving it and stabilizing it – you may want to do it in LTM (limited time modes) where you face fewer adversaries who can hinder your progress.
Third, work as a team. If you can have a friend move the barrel while you’re in and you can communicate if you need to back up here or a little to the right, the job will be much easier.
If you’re doing this, remember to have Party Assist enabled so everyone can share the challenge progress.
However you do it, remember to aim well above the burning ring; otherwise you will navigate just below; It’s always higher than necessary, so when in doubt, aim as high as possible.
Good luck!
