Fortnite ringtones explained
The good news is that finding doorbells is really easy. There is a doorbell next to the front door of almost every house (or residential building in general) in Fortnite, which makes things easier. Here is an example of one:
In our experience, they’ve always been located to the right of the front door: walk up to them and you’ll see a button telling you to ring the doorbell, just like if you were collecting treasure from a weekly treasure map. challenge or loot a chest.
There are many places where you will find houses throughout the game, but remember that this challenge to work has to be in two named places. Examples with many houses include Salty Springs, Snobby Shores, Pleasant Park, and Retail Row, but it can be anywhere on the map with a name above it.

The easiest way to ring the doorbell at different named locations in a single match
For the week 3 challenges, you have the following task:
- Ring the bell at different named locations in a single match (2 total, 10 battle stars)
First of all, unlike last season’s doorbell challenge, there doesn’t have to be another player in the house you call, which makes things a lot easier.
The other part is that your transportation options are much broader this time around, with the addition of quad bikes and plane locations. This means you can hop on one of them, find two houses in different locations, and that’s it.
However, if you are struggling, then the easiest way to ring the doorbell at different named locations in a single match is to visit the two central locations with houses in: Retail Row and Salty Springs. These are geographically very close, making the trip, even on foot, quite short. There are also a large number of houses to choose from.
If you want to be specific, especially since both areas tend to be regularly populated by other players, we recommend the following:
- First, head to the westernmost side of Salty Springs. The house on the north side of the road from the place mentioned has a doorbell.
- Call it and head northeast of the place, and you will find a truck with several quads on it. Hop on one of these and take it to Retail Row to the northeast. (If they don’t show up for some reason, you can always go on foot, but this is obviously much faster.)
- Once there, find the house in the middle of Retail Row, with the doorbell facing south. She should be able to get in, get off, and press the button before they notice.
Ready, challenge completed!
