Dance in an abandoned mansion in Fortnite
Luckily, for this challenge you only need to have one Dance Off in one place, and it’s pretty easy to find.
Fortnite Dance Off Abandoned Mansion Location
The place you are looking for is the large gray brick mansion to the east of the map. Specifically, it is at the eastern end of the map on the border between quadrants J5 and J6:
It’s actually just south of the Lonely Lodge piano location, if that helps narrow things down!
Head inside the mansion from the main entrance and turn left, go down the stairs to the basement of the mansion.
The Dance Off ‘stage’ is set up there. We explain how to complete it in the section just below!
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is here! To help you get started with this heist-themed season, we have guides on how to alert a security camera, protect data from Forecast Towers, and destroy weakened security walls or doors. There’s also a new Victory Umbrella! In the meantime, learn what the best weapons are, the current boosts, how to get XP quickly, how to use the best PC builds, and earn a crown of victory.
How to compete in a Dance Off in the abandoned mansion in Fortnite
For the week 2 challenges, you have the following task:
- Compete in a dance in an abandoned mansion (1 total, 10 battle stars)
Once you’ve found the Dance Off stage, it’s time to compete.
You’ll need another player to make it work: To compete, you must stand on opposite sides of the stage and use a dance emote on top of the light-up square floor panels.
Then keep an eye on the floor and continue until the Dance Off comes to an end and one of you sings as the winner. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose: as long as you last until the end, the challenge will be marked as complete.
However, keep in mind that, as always, you must complete the match in order to finish the challenge; abandoning the game as soon as you collect it will not work.
If you’re struggling, we recommend playing the limited-time modes, ideally those where you’re part of only one of two teams, making it easier to explore the map without running into adversaries.
